The Luxgen U6 is a compact crossover SUV manufactured by Luxgen, a Taiwanese car company. It was also produced and sold in China through the Dongfeng-Yulon joint venture. Developed at Yulon's R&D center, HAITEC, the U6 shares a platform with the Luxgen S5 compact car and is the company's inaugural compact crossover model, situated below the U7 7-seater SUV in its lineup. In 2014, the Luxgen U6 underwent a minor update that introduced the new Eco Hyper engine technology. The U6 Turbo variant is offered with a choice of two turbocharged engines: a 1.8 turbo generating 171 horsepower and 27.1 kg⋅m
