The Maserati Khamsin (Tipo AM120) is a grand tourer that was manufactured by Italian automaker Maserati from 1974 to 1982, and it was positioned next to the DeTomaso-based Maserati Kyalami during the years 1976 to 1982. The car was dubbed the "Khamsin" as a nod to Maserati's tradition of naming its vehicles after winds, specifically referring to a fierce desert gust from Egypt that blows for fifty days annually. Originally showcased as a concept car at the Turin Auto Show in November 1972, the Khamsin was designed by Marcello Gandini, marking Bertone's first collaboration with Maserati. As a
