The Mazda MX-5 (NC) is the third generation of the iconic Mazda MX-5 produced from 2005 to 2015. Upon its release in 2005, it received critical acclaim, winning the prestigious Car of the Year Japan Award and earning a spot on Car and Driver's esteemed 10Best list for nearly a decade, from 2006 to 2013. A notable feature of the NC generation is the availability of a retractable hardtop variant, a first for the MX-5 line. This innovative roof can fold or deploy in just 12 seconds, without compromising trunk space.
