The McLaren Speedtail is a British hybrid hypercar produced between 2020 and 2021, built as the spiritual successor to the legendary McLaren F1 and limited to a run of 106 units. It is best known for its teardrop-shaped, three-seat cabin with a central driving position, a configuration borrowed directly from the F1, and for its claimed top speed of 403 km/h (250 mph), making it the fastest road car McLaren has ever produced. Power comes from a petrol-electric hybrid powertrain producing a combined 1,070 PS, driving all four wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. No distinct variants were produced within the Speedtail lineup, though several cars received bespoke individual specifications through McLaren's MSO personalization division.
