Mercedes-Benz B-Class

2005 – 2024 · GERMANY

The Mercedes-Benz B-Class is a subcompact executive car introduced by Mercedes-Benz in 2005. It is classified by the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) as a small MPV due to its larger dimensions compared to the A-Class, upon which it is based. The concept for the B-Class was first showcased as the Vision B Compact Sports Tourer at the 2004 Paris Motor Show. This concept car previewed features that would later be available in the production model. It was built on a layered platform design to accommodate the drivetrain partially in front of and underneath the passengers, maximizing interior space. By December 20, 2013, the impressive milestone of 1 million B-Class vehicles had been delivered since its launch
