The Mitsubishi Lancer, a popular automobile produced by Mitsubishi Motors from 1973 to 2024, underwent various rebranding efforts and was known by different names in different countries such as Colt Lancer, Dodge Colt, Plymouth Colt, and more. In Japan, it was also sold as the Mitsubishi Galant Fortis since 2007. The Lancer was even marketed under different names in specific regions like Hindustan Lancer and Soueast Lioncel. In Taiwan, the Mitsubishi Lancer was released as the Lancer Fortis, featuring a unique facelift compared to the Galant Fortis version sold in Japan. Notably, in Japan, the Lancer was retailed through a specialized chain called Car Plaza. Over the
