The Mitsubishi Chariot, also known as the Space Wagon, Nimbus, and Expo in different international markets, is a small multi-purpose vehicle manufactured by Mitsubishi from 1983 to 2003. Based on the SSW concept car showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1979, the MPV drew inspiration for its name from ancient Greek and Roman chariots. Throughout its production lifespan, the Chariot underwent various rebranding and badge-engineering initiatives in different regions. In North America, it was sold as the Dodge/Plymouth Colt Vista Wagon, while in Canada, it was marketed as the Eagle Vista Wagon. Additionally, under licensing agreements, the MPV was produced as the Hyundai Santamo and Mitsubishi Savrin in Asia. The Mitsubishi Chariot gained popularity for its practicality, versatility, and reliable performance as a family-oriented vehicle.
