The Mitsubishi Triton, also known as the Mitsubishi L200, is a mid-size pickup truck manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors. Originally named the Mitsubishi Forte in Japan, it was later rebranded as the Strada in 1991. In the United States, Chrysler Corporation sold rebadged versions under the Dodge D50, Dodge Ram 50, and Plymouth Arrow truck names, while Mitsubishi marketed it as the Mitsubishi Mighty Max until 2002.
Referred to as the L200 in most export markets, the truck has also been sold worldwide under different names such as Rodeo, Colt, Storm, Magnum, and Strakar. Notably, the name Strakar was used in Portugal starting in 1999, combining aspects of both the Strada and Dakar models.
In 2015, Fiat Professional introduced a rebranded version of the Mitsubishi Triton/L200 called the Fiat Fullback. Throughout its history, the Mitsubishi Triton/L200 has maintained a strong presence in the mid-size pickup truck segment, offering a combination of reliability, durability, and versatility for both commercial and personal use.
