Mitsubishi Toppo 2nd Gen

2000 – 2004 · Japan

The Mitsubishi Toppo is a light recreational vehicle (RV) manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors in two production periods, from 1990 to 2004 and then from 2008 to 2013. The vehicle was initially based on the Minica kei car, featuring a compact and practical design suited for urban driving. The name "Toppo" is a combination of the English word "top" (roof) and the Japanese term "noppo" (lanky), reflecting its unique characteristics. In 1996, Mitsubishi introduced a retro-styled variant known as the Mitsubishi Minica Toppo Town Bee, offering a more nostalgic look for consumers. Two years later, in 1998, a new generation was launched under the name Mitsubishi Toppo BJ ("Big Joy"), signaling a shift towards a more modern and larger design. Key Points: 1.
