2023 – 2024 · Russia

Moskvitch/Moskvich is a historical Soviet/Russian automobile brand that was initially produced by AZLK from 1946 to 1991 and later by OAO Moskvitch from 1991 to 2001. The brand was revived with production resuming in 2022. OAO Moskvitch was a privatized venture established after the dissolution of the Soviet Union to manage the former factory. Although the factory did not have any assembly branches outside of Russia post-1991, the name OAO Moskvitch remains associated with the factory building located in Moscow. The term "moskvich" translates to "a native of Moscow, a Moscovite" in Russian, reflecting the brand's connection to the capital city
