The Nissan Pulsar is a line of automobiles that was produced by the Japanese automaker Nissan from 1978 to 2000. The Pulsar was later replaced by the Nissan Bluebird Sylphy in the Japanese market. However, between 2000 and 2005, the Pulsar name was used in Australia and New Zealand for rebadged versions of the Sylphy. This naming arrangement continued until 2005 when the Nissan Tiida (C11) was introduced, and the Pulsar name was then retired. In 2013, Nissan reintroduced the Pulsar name in Australia and New Zealand, replacing the Tiida with two new models. These models included the Sylphy (B17) sedan and the Tiida (C12) hatchback.
