The Nissan Skyline GT-R is a renowned Japanese sports car that is part of the Nissan Skyline lineup. The initial generation of Skyline GT-R cars, coded as KPGC10 and produced from 1969 to 1972, gained recognition for their performance in Japanese touring car races. Subsequently, a limited production of second-generation models, coded as KPGC110, was introduced in 1973.
Following a 16-year break, the GT-R designation was resurrected in 1989 with the launch of the BNR32, also known as the R32, Skyline GT-R. The R32 quickly made a name for itself by dominating the Japanese Touring Car Championship for four consecutive years in Group A specifications.
