The Peugeot 508, a mid-size/large family car made by the French automaker Peugeot, was introduced in 2010, succeeding the 407 and 607 models. Developed as a replacement for the older models, the 508 shared its platform and many engine options with the second-generation Citroën C5. Both cars were manufactured concurrently at the Rennes Plant of the Peugeot company, as well as in Wuhan, China, specifically for the Chinese market.
