The Saab Sonett was produced by Swedish automaker Saab in two distinct periods, first from 1955 to 1957 and then from 1966 to 1974. Initially designed as a two-seat, open-top roadster racer known as the Sonett I, it later developed into more commercially available models such as the Sonett II, Sonett V4, and Sonett III. The Sonett models shared engines and components with other Saab vehicles of the era, namely the Saab 93, 95, and 96.
