The Volkswagen Up, a compact city car, was manufactured by the Volkswagen Group from 2011 to 2023. The car was officially introduced at the 2011 International Motor Show Germany (IAA) before production commenced in December 2011 at the Volkswagen Plant in Bratislava, Slovakia. Forming part of the New Small Family (NSF) series, the Up shared its platform with the SEAT Mii and Škoda Citigo, which were essentially rebranded versions of the Up with minor design variations to their front and rear fascias.
