The Shanghai Maple, a subsidiary of Geely Automobile, offers a lineup of compact sedans and liftbacks including the Maple Marindo/Haifeng, Maple Hysoul/Haishang, and Maple Haiyu. These models are closely related to the Maple Hisoon compact hatchback, designed to provide options for both sedan and liftback lovers. In 2004, Shanghai Maple introduced the 1.5L powered Haiyu 303 sedan, setting a strong foundation for the brand's sedan offerings. The following year, in 2005, the Maple Haiyu expanded its lineup to include a sedan variant known as the MA 303 and a hatchback version called the AA 205, offering versatility to suit different preferences and needs.
