Subaru Impreza GV WRX Sti

2007 – 2014 · Japan

The Subaru WRX STI is a high-performance variant of the Subaru WRX sedan, manufactured by Subaru Tecnica International (STI) from 2014 to 2021. It succeeded the Subaru Impreza WRX STI. The production of the WRX STI concluded after its first generation, with no plans for a new VB WRX STI model. STI offers various factory-backed accessories typically available through dealerships, featuring the brand's signature cherry blossom accents as a nod to Japan's iconic tree. First Generation (VA; 2014-2021): - Introduced in 2014 alongside the VA WRX, the VA WRX STI showcased upgraded brakes, the famed EJ257 4-cylinder engine tuned by Subaru Technica International, an enhanced 6-speed manual transmission, and a unique body kit and spoiler. - Interior enhancements included an STI-exclusive gauge cluster, shifter knob, and other distinctive elements, like Recaro bucket seats in select models. - Noteworthy interior styling featured red accents, setting it apart from the WRX's predominantly black and grey interior design. In summary, the Subaru WRX STI, in its first generation VA model, offers a thrilling driving experience with performance-oriented features and unique styling touches. With its advanced engineering and exclusive additions by STI, the WRX STI maintains a strong presence in the high-performance sedan segment, perfect for enthusiasts seeking a blend of speed, agility, and style.
