Suzuki Twin

2003 – 2005 · Japan

The Suzuki Twin is a compact kei car manufactured by Suzuki and released in Japan from January 22, 2003, until October 2005. Offering both hybrid and non-hybrid versions, it became the pioneering hybrid kei car in Japan during its time. The standard model of the Suzuki Twin, compatible with the Japanese test cycle, boasted fuel efficiency at 4.54L/100 km, while the hybrid variant excelled further at 2.93L/100 km. Targeted towards a youthful female demographic, the Suzuki Twin's design resembled that of the Smart Fortwo with a slightly longer body. Setting itself apart, the car introduced innovative features like a passenger seat that could fold down completely flat to double as a storage tray
