The Talbot Tagora was an executive car designed by Chrysler Europe and manufactured by Peugeot Société Anonyme (PSA). Following the acquisition of Chrysler's European division by PSA in 1979, the Tagora was incorporated into the Talbot brand. Production of the Tagora commenced in 1980, with its commercial release taking place in 1981. Despite high expectations, the Tagora failed to meet sales targets and was deemed a disappointment within a year of its introduction, being labeled a "showroom flop." The underwhelming reception led to PSA's decision to discontinue the model only two years after its launch.
