The Toyota Belta, also known as the Yaris in North America and Australia and as the Vios in Asian markets, is a subcompact sedan produced by Toyota. Serving as the successor to the Platz sedan, the Belta has grown in size compared to its predecessor, now offering interior space comparable to the E120 series Corolla. Launched in Japan on November 28, 2005, the Belta was initially available with engine options ranging from 1.0 to 1.3 liters and was sold through Toyopet Store dealerships. International sales commenced in 2006, with most regions receiving a standard 1.5 L 1NZ-FE engine. In certain markets, the smaller 1.3
