Toyota Highlander XU20

2001 – 2007

The Toyota Dyna is a popular light to medium-duty cab-over truck designed for commercial use. It is sold in the Japanese market alongside its twin, the Toyoace. The Toyoace was originally known as the Toyopet SKB Truck until it was renamed in 1956 following a public competition that received over 200,000 entries. The name "Dyna" stands for dynamic, reflecting the truck's versatile and robust nature. Initially, the Dyna was exclusively sold at Toyota Diesel Store locations in Japan, before becoming available at Toyota Store locations. In contrast, the Toyoace twin was sold at Toyopet Store locations. This distinction in retail locations reflects the unique branding strategies adopted by Toyota for these similar models.
