The UAZ Simbir, also known as UAZ-3162, is an off-road vehicle manufactured by the Russian company UAZ from 2000 to 2005. The name "Simbir" is derived from Simbirsk, the old name for Ulyanovsk. This model represents a departure from the UAZ-469 and its derivatives, offering a fresh design and features. Essentially, the UAZ Simbir is a revamped version of the UAZ-3160 with a longer wheelbase.
