The Vauxhall Victor, a large family car manufactured by Vauxhall from 1957 to 1976, was introduced as a successor to the Wyvern model. Renamed the Vauxhall VX Series in 1976, it continued production until 1978, growing significantly in size and being perceived as a larger-than-average family car in its home market. The Victor's final iteration, the Victor FE, was also produced under license by Hindustan Motors in India as the Hindustan Contessa, equipped with an Isuzu engine during the 1980s and early 2000s.
