The Volvo S60 is a compact executive car produced by Volvo since 2000, intended to replace the S70. The first generation, launched in 2000 on the P2 platform, introduced design elements inspired by the ECC concept car and the S80. It offered a high-performance variant known as the S60 R and had an estate version named the Volvo V70. The second generation, released in 2010 for the 2011 model year, featured styling updates and included its estate counterpart, the Volvo V60. Building on the success of its predecessor, the second generation continued to offer a mix of performance and luxury. In 2018, Volvo introduced the third generation of the S60 for the 2019 model year.
