1996 – 2024 — Sweden

The Volvo S90, an executive sedan produced by Swedish automaker Volvo Cars, has been in production since 2016. It is complemented by the Volvo V90 which is the estate variant of the same model. In its first model year in 2017, Volvo offered both short and long wheelbase versions of the S90 sedan, along with an estate model. The short wheelbase model was made available in North America and Europe, while the long wheelbase version was primarily targeted at the Chinese market. Looking ahead, Volvo has teased the potential introduction of coupe variants, with a hinted timeline of around 2020. One such variant would be the Polestar 1, building on the success and design language of the S90.
