Historic Leyburn Sprints

The Historic Leyburn Sprints takes place in Leyburn, a small country town on the Southern Darling Downs in Queensland. This is one of the region's major motorsport events. Around 18,000 people come each year to watch sprint racing that runs through the town's streets. The event runs over two days. Gates open at 8am. The 2026 edition marks the 30th anniversary of the Sprints and also the 77th anniversary of the 1949 Australian Grand Prix.
