Held at Willowbank Raceway, the day combines drag racing, a static show n shine, a swap meet, a dyno competition and trade stands. Ford vehicles only - everything from buses to drag cars and everything between is welcome. Part of Queensland's most sought-after winter festivals, this display attracts attendees from throughout the region and further afield. Warwick's CBD hosts the Grand Automobile Display, which showcases an array of classic cars, vintage vehicles, motorcycles, hot rods, muscle cars, specialty builds and modern classics. Participation is open to clubs, offering an excellent opportunity to display member vehicles before an engaged and sizeable audience, connect with fellow car enthusiasts and participate in a professionally organised community festival. Vehicle registrations are currently available with limited availability, so early registration is advised to secure a prime location in the static display positioned along the main street and park. The Laidley Showgrounds will host Krome Rock & Rods, a two-day Show & Shine event on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August. Vehicle registration for show participants commences at 6:30am on both days. Award presentations take place Saturday between 12pm and 12:30pm, and Sunday between 11am and 11:30am. This event showcases pre-1980 vehicles in all their forms—classic cars, vintage cars, American muscle cars, and hot rods—in a rockabilly-themed celebration complete with live entertainment, prizes, and trophies. Entry fees for drivers are $20 for a single day or $30 for both days, with each entry covering one driver and one vehicle. Adult spectators pay $20 per day or $30 for the entire weekend. Children aged 10 and above cost $10 daily or $15 for the weekend, while children under 10 gain free admission. The registration deadline is midnight on Wednesday 30 July 2026, with payment required by that same date. All single-day and weekend participants will receive a complimentary gift bag.

The Old Machinery Expo, Fathers & Fords is presented by the Toowoomba and District Old Machinery Society. Taking place on the day before Father's Day, this event is an ideal occasion to enjoy a visit with your dad and grandad.
