The First-Ever Alice Anderson Tribute Tour 2026 An Escape Motoring car club event celebrating women's pioneering role in Australian motoring history. This three-day, two-night tour runs from Friday to Sunday. Saturday's driving route gives preference to lady drivers. WHAT'S INCLUDED Meals: Welcome dinner Friday, cooked breakfast Saturday and Sunday, lunch Friday, celebration dinner Saturday. Drinks are charged separately at bar prices. Accommodation: Two nights at Alzburg Resort or High Country Holiday Park (book and pay yourself). SCHEDULE Friday Tour starts at 10.00 AM at Kew Cemetery. Guest speaker Loretta Smith presents on Alice Anderson's life with slideshow and wreath-laying ceremony. Drive via Healesville, Narbethong to Mansfield, visiting the Healesville workshop site. Lunch at Black Spur Inn, Narbethong. Welcome dinner at Delatite Hotel at 7.00 PM. Saturday Cooked breakfast at Alzburg Resort at 9.00 AM. Depart 10.00 AM for Benalla (lady drivers preferred, see map). Lunch at Benalla Bowls Club (order meals before departure). Celebration dinner at Mansfield Golf Club at 7.00 PM. Period vehicle fancy dress encouraged. Prizes awarded for best costume and door prizes. Sunday Cooked breakfast at Alzburg Resort at 9.00 AM. Optional vehicle display in Mansfield until 11.00 AM. BOOKING AND COSTS Cost per person: $190. A $50 deposit is due within 7 days of confirmation. Final balance due 15 days before the tour. Limited to 80 people, first come first served.
