# Maling Road Autoclassico The Maling Road Autoclassico started in 2016 and has grown into one of Melbourne's most popular community car events. Held in the Maling Road village precinct in Canterbury, it attracts around 20,000 visitors and showcases more than 300 handpicked classic, historic and modern cars and bikes from around the world. ## What to expect **Vehicle Displays**: A curated collection of classic, historic and modern vehicles. Featured car clubs and private entries are on display. **Themed Areas**: Explore the French Quarter, Italian and European Showcase, and an Iconic Australian Vehicles section. **Motorsport and Activities**: Watch motorsport activations. Visit the Ladies Lounge and Costumi Classico, a vintage dress-up experience for all ages. **Family Fun**: Kids' rides, roaming performers and movie-themed displays. **Layout and Setup**: Sponsor activations are blended with vehicle displays throughout the event. **Street Closure**: The entire Maling Road shopping strip closes from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, creating a pedestrian-only festival space.
