Amaroo Park

Name: Amaroo Park
Address: Annangrove, New South Wales, Australia

By @drivesomehq · Annangrove, New South Wales, Australia · Racetrack

Amaroo Park was a tight, hilly 1.94 km circuit at Annangrove on Sydney's north-western edge, open from 1963 until its final meeting in 1998. It hosted rounds of the Australian Touring Car Championship, the AMSCAR touring car series and the Castrol Six Hour production motorcycle race, and its short lap and blind crests made it a favourite of drivers and a nightmare for overtaking. The land was sold for development after closure.
