The Cooma Monaro Historic Automobile Club Inc (Cooma Car Club) was incorporated in 2002, growing from the Monaro Chapter of the Classic and Historic Automobile Club of Australasia, and now has around 200 members. It owns a workshop, showroom and motoring museum complex on Bolaro Street, Cooma, featuring historic cars, motorbikes, memorabilia and a 1950s American diner. The club runs major regional events including Cooma Motorfest, the Surf to Summit Rally, Mt Gladstone Hillclimb, Over 50s Classic, Girderfork Motorbike Rally and the Monaro Billy Kart Derby.
