Firebird Raceway

Firebird Raceway is a quarter mile NHRA sanctioned drag strip in the foothills near Eagle, Idaho, in the Boise metropolitan area. Opened in 1968 by Bill and Ellanor New and still run by the New family, it has been named NHRA Track of the Year three times and hosts more than fifty events each season, including the annual Nightfire Nationals. In 2018 it became the first drag strip listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
