Island Dragway is a quarter mile drag strip in Great Meadows, New Jersey, opened in 1960 by Edward and Catherine Kowalick on their family farmland. In August 1964 it was the site of drag racer Don Garlits's first officially recognised 200 mph pass. Now run by a third generation of the Kowalick family, it is described as New Jersey's last remaining dragstrip.
