Kauai Raceway Park is the only drag strip on the island of Kauai and the westernmost NHRA-affiliated track in the United States, located off Highway 50 near Kekaha. Run by the community-based Garden Isle Racing Association since 1999 on a small leased parcel next to the Kekaha landfill, the quarter-mile strip hosts bracket racing, test-and-tune nights and junior dragster events. The track traces its roots back to the 1970s and remains a rare motorsport outlet for the island's roughly 74,000 residents.
