Khaki Vehicle Enthusiasts Incorporated, formed in NSW in 2005, was created to organise the annual Corowa Swim-In, the largest gathering of ex-military vehicles in the Southern Hemisphere. Its committee is drawn from Australia's military vehicle clubs and its purpose is to gather, parade, display and encourage restoration of ex-military vehicles. The event is called a 'Swim-In' because amphibious military vehicles swim in the Murray River.
