Established in 1983 and incorporated in 1984, the Macedon Ranges & District Motor Club is based in New Gisborne and caters to a diverse range of motoring enthusiasts, covering vintage, veteran and classic cars, trucks, motorcycles, stationary engines, tractors and more. It meets monthly at its clubrooms and is best known for staging the annual Picnic at Hanging Rock display event each February since 1987.
