Rockingham Dragway is a quarter mile drag strip in the North Carolina Sandhills, built in 1969 and opened in 1970. Known locally as The Rock, it runs a full calendar from March through December, including street legal Friday nights and funny car shows, and is set to host its first full NHRA national event in 2026. The track rejoined the NHRA Member Track Network in 2015 and passed to new ownership in 2022.
