The Volvo Car Club of South Australia began in 1982 and was incorporated as a non-profit in 1983 to promote fellowship among Volvo owners through social activities and national events. It is affiliated with the FHMCSA, Combined Car Clubs and MSCASA, and is an Authorised club under the SA Conditional Registration Scheme. General meetings are held on the 2nd Friday of alternating months at the Glandore Community Centre.
