Wanneroo Raceway, long known as Barbagallo Raceway, is a 2.41 km circuit at Neerabup on Perth's northern edge, opened in 1969 as the successor to Caversham. It hosts the Supercars Championship's Western Australian round, national and state championships and a busy club calendar, and its short lap and sandy surroundings make tyre wear a constant talking point.
