The Acura TL is a luxury vehicle manufactured by Acura, the high-end division of Honda. It was introduced in 1995 as a replacement for the Acura Vigor. Initially, it was known as the Honda Inspire and Honda Saber in the Japanese market. The TL became Acura's top-selling model until it was surpassed by the MDX in 2007. It was also the second best-selling luxury sedan in the United States after the BMW 3 Series in 2005. However, sales declined post-2008. The Acura TL went through four generations, with the final fourth generation being introduced in 2008 and ending production in 2014, succeeded by the TLX, which also replaced the TSX.
