The Acura TL is a luxury sedan manufactured by Acura, a division of Honda, starting from 1995 to replace the Acura Vigor. It was badged as the Honda Inspire and Honda Saber for the Japanese market during specific years. Initially, the TL was Acura's top-selling model but was eventually surpassed by the MDX in 2007. In 2005, it ranked as the second best-selling luxury sedan in the United States behind the BMW 3 Series, although sales declined post the 2008 model year. The Acura TL has seen four generations, with the final fourth generation introduced in 2008 as a 2009 model and ending production in 2014, subsequently being replaced alongside the TSX by the TLX.
