The AITO M5 is a compact crossover SUV developed by Seres under the AITO marque in partnership with Huawei, introduced in 2022. It is the maiden offering from AITO and positions itself below the AITO M7 in the lineup. Available in two powertrain variants, the M5 comes in both range extender electric (EREV) and battery electric (EV) configurations. In 2023, the AITO M5 became part of the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), a collaborative effort involving multiple brands alongside Huawei. At its unveiling in December 2021, the M5 was initially revealed solely as a range-extended electric vehicle (EREV), sharing its platform with the Seres SF5. This
