The Renault Alpine GTA and its successor, the A610, were sports coupé cars produced by the French manufacturer Alpine between 1984 and 1995. Initially introduced in late 1984, the GTA was known internally by its code name, although it was marketed as the Alpine V6 GT or V6 Turbo in Europe, and simply as GTA in the British market. Serving as a replacement for the underperforming Alpine A310, the GTA shared various features with its predecessor, including the layout and engine.
