Situated in Jiangsu, China, Aoxin was founded in the year 2006 with an ambitious vision: to revolutionize the automotive industry by focusing on lightweight electric vehicles. Not just confined to the Chinese market, products from Aoxin have found their way to international shores, including the United States, New Zealand, Spain, Germany, and Italy. By the year 2050, it is projected that Aoxin's diverse fleet will consist of 56 different vehicles. These range from garbage trucks and electric vans to specialized vehicles like electric advertising trucks and self-loading garbage trucks.
A testament to its capabilities, Aoxin's production activities are supported by a sprawling 2.21 square-kilometer factory. This facility not only includes a park and a test track but also boasts of a production capacity of 200,000 sets of automotive composites material formed through various preparation processes. Furthermore, the factory is designed to produce 30,000 sets of three kinds of extenders: fuel extenders, gas turbines, and fuel batteries.
One of the earliest vehicles produced by Aoxin was the Star Truck in 2009. It is remembered for being a low-speed, highly cost-effective small truck. Recognized for its practicality and convenience, the Star Truck gained immense popularity in the United States as a preferred means for cargo transportation and courier services.
In the same year, Aoxin also introduced the AEV1, a five-door hatchback. However, it was the Aoxin eGo, produced in 2011, that broke the mold. This three-door, two-seat compact hatchback featured dimensions of 2960 mm by 1710 mm by 1598 mm and a wheelbase of 1958 mm, all while maintaining a kerb weight of just 800 kg.
In 2014, Aoxin ventured into the luxury segment by unveiling the IBIS sedan, also known as the Aoxin E45 or Aoxin Heying. This vehicle boasted a carbon fiber body and an aluminum frame, and weighed 1815 kg.
Not to be limited by passenger vehicles alone, Aoxin extended its expertise into specialized service vehicles. Among these is the A59, an electric dump truck with notable dimensions and a kerb weight of 1330 kg. Another noteworthy mention is the Aoxin X30L, a large-sized van first produced in 2019 with an average unit production of 2,000 per year.
For those interested in compact utility, the Aoxin A1XD is a two-door compact box truck that was formerly known as the Dafudi A1XD. As of January 2020, this vehicle has been reintroduced under the Aoxin brand. With a charging time of 6 to 8 hours, the A1XD provides a viable option for a range of transportation needs.
Last but certainly not least, Aoxin's Environmental Sanitation, an electric street sweeper, has received high cleaning efficiency ratings in various countries, making it a global competitor in its category.
With a rich portfolio and an ever-expanding global footprint, Aoxin continues to solidify its place as a leader in the production of light-weight electric vehicles, encompassing both passenger and service categories.
