AS Motorsport

Founded on July 5, 2007, by Andrew Peter Soar, AS Motorsport Limited has firmly established itself as a notable British car manufacturer. Located in Diss, Norfolk County, the company operates with an exceptional approach to car manufacturing, offering a fusion of ingenuity and craftsmanship. Also actively involved in the business is Joy Soar, ensuring the family-run essence is strongly reflected in its core values. So, what sets this brand apart? The answer is encapsulated in its one and only model: the DBR Le Mans. The model serves as a tribute to the iconic race cars, Aston Martin DBR 1 and Aston Martin DBR 2. At the heart of this masterpiece lies a spaceframe frame that serves as its backbone, proving that despite its stunning exterior, performance and structure are never compromised. When it comes to the engine, expertise from Jaguar Cars has been incorporated. This decision is not merely about leveraging the power and efficiency for which Jaguar is known but also about upholding the British legacy that comes with it. The synergy between AS Motorsport and Jaguar in this collaboration has been nothing short of electric. As for the body of this open two-seater, potential buyers are offered a choice that reflects their own preference and style: fiberglass or aluminum. This customization feature means that each DBR Le Mans produced can be considered a unique piece of art, personalized to its owner. Previously, the model was manufactured by ARA Racing, but AS Motorsport has successfully taken over the production, elevating it to new heights. In terms of production numbers, around twelve models have been made to date, making each car not only a feat of engineering but also a limited edition masterpiece. In a world where mass production often sacrifices quality, AS Motorsport deviates from the norm by putting quality over quantity. It becomes evident that each car is more than a means of transportation; it's an expression of lifestyle, a statement of luxury, and a tribute to British engineering. The brand name under which these automobiles are produced is ASM, which captures the essence of Andrew and Joy Soar's initials and imprints their personal touch on each vehicle that rolls off the production line. This personalization is not just limited to the car's body and engine but extends to the holistic experience of owning an AS Motorsport vehicle. While the numbers of models produced might be limited, the brand's commitment to innovation and craftsmanship is boundless. The vision set forth by Andrew Peter Soar on that fateful day in 2007 has been realized and continues to evolve. AS Motorsport Limited is not just manufacturing cars; it is crafting a legacy that pays homage to the golden era of British motorsport.
