Founded by Ignacio Fernández Rodríguez in 2003, Aspid, previously known as IFR Aspid, is a Spanish automotive brand known for its performance-focused vehicles. The company derives its name from a viper species endemic to northern Spain, symbolizing speed and agility, which are core to Aspid's automotive philosophy. The IFR Aspid made its debut at the British International Motor Show in 2008, distinguishing itself through its advanced technology and innovative design. The car was available in two models: Sport and Supersport. It featured a 2.0L Honda F20C I4 engine, similar to that of the Honda S2000 but tuned by IFR for higher performance.
