The Audi TT is a renowned front-engine, 2-door, 2+2 sports coupé and roadster produced by Audi from 1998 to 2023 across three generations. Each generation of the TT has been built on Volkswagen's "Group A" platforms, with the first generation starting with the "PQ34" fourth generation platform. The TT shares powertrain and suspension setups with other models in the Audi lineup, such as the Audi A3. This includes a transversely mounted front-engine, available in front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive configurations, and fully independent MacPherson strut suspension at the front. The first two generations of the TT were manufactured by Audi's Hungarian subsidiary, with the bodyshells produced and painted in Audi's Ingolstadt plant. However, parts for the third generation were entirely produced by the Hungarian factory. The assembly process showcased Audi's engineering precision and the capability of the Hungarian manufacturing plant. In November 2023, the last Audi TT rolled off the production line, marking the end of its successful manufacturing run. With a total production figure of 662,762 units, the Audi TT had left a lasting impact on the sports car market.
