The Audi TT was a front-engine, 2-door, 2+2 sports coupé and roadster produced by Audi from 1998 to 2023, spanning three generations. Throughout its lifetime, the TT was built on Volkswagen's "Group A" platforms, beginning with the fourth generation "PQ34" platform. The TT shared its powertrain and suspension setups with other models like the Audi A3, featuring a front-engine layout mounted transversely to power front-wheel drive or optional four-wheel drive, as well as MacPherson struts in the front suspension for improved handling. Manufacturing wise, the Audi TT’s first two generations were put together by Audi's Hungarian subsidiary, which happens to be one of the largest engine
