This high-end vehicle belongs to the Kortezh series of luxury vehicles, alongside the Senat limousine and the Arsenal minivan, reflecting a commitment to premium design and craftsmanship. The SUV draws its name from the iconic Komendantskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin, paying homage to its Russian heritage and history. Initially slated for production by the end of 2020, production of the Aurus Komendant has faced delays, pushing the expected release date to 2022 and then further to 2023.
