The BMW X3 is a luxury SUV that has been in production since 2003 and is now in its third generation. In the third generation, production of the X3 expanded to BMW South Africa's Rosslyn plant, alongside the Spartanburg facility, after a significant upgrade to the Rosslyn plant, which took over production from the long-running 3 Series.
